What's it like to stay with Accor right now?
Accor launched ALLSAFE on May 15 2020: a global cleanliness and COVID-19 prevention initiative developed with Bureau Veritas, a company specialized in testing and certifying health and safety.
All Accor hotels are now required to follow ALLSAFE standards. Before a hotel can receive the ALLSAFE label, Accor and/or Bureau Veritas will audit the property to ensure compliance with the program’s standards.
With a significant presence in Asia-Pacific, Accor has historical operational experience managing hotels through health crises like SARS and the H1N1 outbreak. It now aims to deploy those learnings globally.
Like other global hotel companies, Accor is enhancing cleaning in guest rooms and public areas.
Using hospital grade disinfectant and focusing on high-touch surfaces, it is monitoring cleaning across its hotel portfolio. This is logical given Accor’s large number of franchised hotels.
Where Accor has distinguished itself is in medical care for its guests. It boldly partnered with AXA to offer free telemedicine consultations to its guests. Guests can also access AXA’s network of thousands of medical professionals in the 110 cities where Accor and AXA have a mutual presence.
